IPRSTART’s vision is to create, develop and validate as appropriate, an extensive and valuable portfolio database of IPR / patents and associated transferable technology. A showcase of lower-risk commercially sound, as well as high-risk ‘blue sky’ innovatively created IPR opportunities for members.
IPRSTART positions itself uniquely to match its database of IPR to that of its members requirements enabling advancement in commercialisation of synergistic ideas and opportunities. We are an exclusive, members only, showcase of Intellectual Property opportunities which we own, have commercialisation rights to , or have been assigned the IPR. We have access to emerging IPR in existing industries but we will also be missionaries of new markets and sectors which have yet to be capitalised, commercially recognised or exploited.
Exploitation partners deal with people not technology. IPRSTART’s role is to act as facilitators, negotiators, scouts and networkers, acting as a link between the parties prior to introduction. Our credibility and future reputation depends on ensuring that only relationships meeting the predefined requirements of Inquirers and IP Promoters are enabled. Those requirements are specific and often tailored to a company or its current approach to expansion / exploitation. Every situation is a bespoke relationship which may need for example, seedcorn, start-up, acquisition, partnering or divestment positions. IPRSTART adds value in bypassing the need for initial mutual pre-appraisal by both the IP Proposer and the Inquirer whilst at the same time, discovering opportunities which may not be predefined or even anticipated yet and which can be capitalised upon when found.
We strongly recommend that before you discuss your Intellectual Property with anyone, you ensure that your asset is suitably protected with a Non-Disclosure or Secrecy Agreement.
IPR whether globally exploited or influencing a national market, can be protected by IPROTECT. Existing Patents, Patents applied for, and even non-patentable technologies, may be protected as legal frameworks through IPROTECT, creating international exclusivity for the owners (regardless of Patent standing).
